New Parker VA179-75 Material for High Temperatures

FFKM and Metal seals have been the leader in high temperature sealing environments, resulting in higher part costs in order to ensure reliability.  Parker's new VA179-75 FKM material provides a cost effective solution without the need to sacrifice resilience. 

Whether the application is automotive, industrial, oil & gas or aerospace, a reliable solution is important to ensure the safety of the manufacturer, the employees, the customer, and the user.  Often enough this solution comes with a price tag that isn't ideal.  Thanks to Parker we have a new solution.  The VA179-75 material is the new industry leading high temperature FKM with a 20°C tolerance increase from other FKM compounds.  The material still retains its chemical and low sealing capabilities characteristic of standard FKMs but with the increased limits that make it a cost sensitive and overall appealing solution to sealing requirements.
